Moz?naby patrzec? w dno kartonu. Zajmowac? sie? nim, unikaja?c go. Kontynuowac? az? do momentu, w którym powierzchnia dna spote?guje sie? we wraz?eniu, silnie sie? zage?s?ci.

Wybrac? jedna? rzecz, zmniejszyc? ostros?c? spojrzenia.

Przywołac? to uczucie.

Włas?ciwie to moz?e zacza?c? sie?, jeszcze zanim sie? zacznie.

You could arrange an empty cardboard box in such a way that you can look through the loose bottom.

Although you see less through the hole, you notice more. In this area of concentrated attention, the circumstances make you expect something, that something might just happen.

But nothing happens. You see exactly what you can see, just this moment, things just as they are, in the same place as always.

It is what it is, nothing is missing, yet the event does not seem complete. The situation triggers expectations, makes a vertical interruption, with an impression, that it ends before it begins. It behaves as if it is smaller than it is; it leaves a lot of space within itself; there is still a lot of room left.

You could look at the bottom of the cardboard box. Just gazing at the surface of the hole. Trying to see something, but eventually changing your mind. Approaching, stopping, starting anew. Seeing, but not recognizing. Knowing the direction, but not the object. Dealing with it by avoiding it. Continuing until the bottom surface grows and solidifies in the mind.

It could be the thought that not everything in this room exists, that some of these things are not here. That would be an exagerrated thought; of course, when you have something, you don't question its existence. You would need a momentary loss of consciousness. And not only that. You would also need arbitrary invisibility; to see things that are here, but behave as if they weren't. And yet it wouldn't be enough, because you'd need a feigned naivete – recognizing your actions, but behaving as if you didn't. And even then, you would have to recognize the resultant state as not being the truth, but only giving that impression.

Choose one thing, focus out from it. Look at it this way to see a minus. Realizing that this thing does not disappear, but nonetheless thinking that it's almost gone. Reproducing the basic experience that says there is always something missing. Reminding yourself of a cardboard box with no bottom, seeing how the nothingness pours out. Being aware that this is not affecting the environment, but doing it nonetheless, knowing that this determines it.

Although it would be a change by which nothing alters, it would make a difference. Although things do not disappear, they do disappear; you get the impression that it becomes somewhat emptier.

Just thinking: sometimes I'm not sure if I'm in the place in which I find myself. Recalling this feeling. Trying to discover that you are in a room that is not here. Seeing yourself in a place which has no place.

I am where I have been. Standing where I was. Everything looks like it used to, but it takes up a position from which it is easy to think that we only think that is the way it is. We don't know this for sure, we only guess. Now I can think that I am in a place that only wants to appear, that everything that is is only what it could be. Maybe it just about to be. In fact, it looks as if it was about to do so. Actually, it may start even before it begins. The thing that it is trying to be is stronger than what it is already.

Someone who finds themselves in a city, district, neighborhood, or house, might feel like being inside one of those cardboard boxes, each of which is contained in a bigger box. They would sit in a room, seeing something that contains the same things, only smaller. And there are ten of those things. And there is an impression that there are more. And if the viewer looked for long, they would discreetly vanish into the distance, which is no longer a spatial distance. It is still close, you can still touch it, but it seems unattainable.

Sometimes when you look at something long enough, you don't know what you're looking at. The thing opens up its own imagination, sense of possibility, and you see something that you can't see. And then it may just be, or only it only seems that the situation does not contain itself.

Such incidents have a power that they do not have, yet they do not cease to work. They don't have what they give, but they give it anyway. Fake distances, but distances nonetheless.

In such situations you can see something even if you don't see anything. Something is happening, even if nothing happens. You feel an influence, an unclear influence, but an influence nonetheless. The consequences are not specific, but they are real. Even if it they can be got rid of, they do not disappear.
